Quit trying to be Superwoman - Part II

Article by
Annie Ashdown

Part Two

If you read part one in September and it got you thinking and questioning your motives for saying Yes too often, when in fact you want to say No, that’s brilliant, as awareness is always the pre requisite to change. Get clarity, get making changes as you are so worth it!

1. Set a boundary. Who takes advantage of your kind nature? What is your intention? Who can you call upon for support beforehand or after?

The name of the person is: ….

My intention is: ….

My support person is: ….

2. Get Courage. What would it be like if you walked through your fear of saying No?

My fear is: ….

I don’t feel its right to say No because: ….

My life would benefit if I had more courage because: ….

3. Three challenges I have successfully handled in the past are:

1…..

2…..

3…..

OK here’s the thing, the only way to make changes is to be clear on what we want and JUST DO IT! We can achieve anything with a good plan, good friends, and a strong inner belief in ourselves.

Positive, strong words/sentences to use daily are;

  • Definitely
  • I will
  • Here’s what I want
  • I am confident
  • I value my time and energy
  • I love you, but I love me too

Good luck!
