Some Unique Makeover Tips

Article by
Cindy Rogers

It is no secret that there are literally thousands of ways to go about a personal makeover, and there is a seemingly endless stream of advice and beauty tips out there to help you do it. In fact, it can be a bit overwhelming if you bother to search for makeover tips or trends, as these sorts of searches tend to yield endless streams of results. Still, this is not altogether a bad thing, and if you can focus on some of the more unique and effective ideas, you make wind up with the best makeover you’ve had in years.

Here are a few such tips to help get you started.

Egg Yolks

Many women are always looking for ways to keep their hair shinier and less frazzled, and though there are a number of products and remedies designed to help with this issue, one of the best solutions may actually come from egg yolks. If you crack a couple of eggs over your head and mix in some shampoo, and then let it all sit for a little while before rinsing it out, you may be shocked at the difference in your hair. It’s a little bit unorthodox, but it’s certainly worth a try if you’re looking for more unique makeover tips.

Contact Lenses

Typically, when women really want to emphasize the beauty of their eyes, they do so with makeup around the eyes. This works quite well in many cases, but you may also want to look into some newer types of contact lenses specifically designed to bring out the brightness and colour of your eyes. Head to Acuvue and look into their 1-Day Acuvue Define contacts, and you may soon have a selection of lenses that are perfect for adding some extra accent to your eyes on any given day or night.

Tinted Moisturizer

Many women think that the only solution for making legs look more toned is to actually tone them – and while this is still a good and healthy idea in the long run, there are also ways to accent the tone that you do have before you actually set about toning up. For example, apply some tented moisturizer to your legs before going out, or even at the beginning of the day or during a general makeover. Any kind of added colour usually accentuates muscle and tone, so this can make your legs look shapelier very quickly, and can be a great fix in the meantime while you work on actually toning up!
