London
There is so much happening here there’s potential to overload and it just seems to get busier and better! It’s a hotbed of activity throughout the day and night and that’s why it’s always exciting to visit! As boundaries are constantly pushed clued up preparation will see you enjoying some of the very best activities and venues in Europe. Our favourites for a London hen do this year are many of the dancing activities, especially Burlesque and Glee, and cakes with cocktails!
Manchester
If north is easier than south, a Manchester hen party has to be near the top of the list, it’s an amazing city with a very enticing range of high quality hospitality. The hotels, bars and nightlife are every bit as good as any major city in Europe … if not better. The shopping is fantastic but our pick of activities for you would be the cocktail making, cheer leading and chocolate making.
Brighton
One of our favourite cities, there’s an atmosphere to a Brighton hen do that just encourages a good time. Like the two UK giants above Brighton consistently provides a generous base for having fun and the creative environment invites a lot of exciting and unusual experiences. Seemingly unaffected by the recent economic correction Brighton is lively year round but in summer it takes it up a notch.
Dubrovnik
New for GoHen this year Dubrovnik is probably one of the most stunning settings of any city in the world. Looking out over the sun kissed Adriatic this city is a jewel in the city break crown and you won’t have to do very much to be satisfied that this was a great choice of destinations for the hen weekend. However do it with a little finesse in one of the excellent 5 star hotels, add an afternoon on a private yacht, dinner on the quay followed by some beach clubbing and you will have experienced a slice of well deserved pre-nuptial bling.
Barcelona
A firm favourite with international hen parties, Barcelona is an embarrassment of riches, great climate, excellent food, beauty and a little edge together with a rhythmically beating Latin heart. Getting to your Barcelona hen do is easy and can be cheap if you book early enough, after a couple of years where groups have held back a little from travelling we expect 2011 to be a very big year for “Barca”.
Lisbon
It’s not yet big on the hen party radar but 2011 Lisbon should see a few more groups head to the Portuguese Capital. There’s a complementary mix of culture and cool making a well planned break a very rewarding experience. You don’t have to do much on your Lisbon hen weekend, just relax and enjoy one of the most underrated cities in Europe. You might want to think about going soon, it’s going to be popular.
