What makes you uniquely you? In business jargon, what is your USP (unique selling point)? What are you known for amongst your friends, family or colleagues?
These are your X-factors.
There is a widely upheld belief that personal development centres on practising, and thus improving, our perceived weaknesses.
However, I believe this is a blinkered misconception. Instead, I believe in focusing on and practising our strengths.
It may seem strange, why would I practise something I’m already fabulous at? But what makes you stand apart are the things you are good at, your X-factors.
So get better at them. Be unbelievably good at them.
With greater confidence and recognition, success will undoubtedly follow.
